3 free java applets for web plots or charts in a self-extracting Winzip file. Instructions present examples of usage in an html or asp page. Applets create colored plots (points & pie) or bar charts on white or black backgrounds. Plots and charts are automatically scaled to fit user-specified size. Data range and data points are displayed along with a user-specified title. Negative points are plotted, but only positive value bars are supported. Plot applet supports one point of a different color, colors of points or bars are user-defined. Pie chart shows only one pie piece to highlight its percentage of the total. Instructions explain how to program the display in a visual basic, or java, scripted active server page so that custom displays can be constructed on the server to support different clients. When scripted, displayed points, pie pieces or bars are set from variables. Applet sizes range from of 5 to 7 K.
